NCA Rouiba formalises its move to come under the control of Castel (BIH): Othmani remains Chairman

Led by Slim Othmani, the “project of linking NCA Rouiba to the BIH group” provides for a capital increase at the end of which the French giant Castel, via its subsidiary Brasseries Internationales Holding (BIH), will become the majority shareholder of the Algerian leader in the fruit drinks sector.

Announced on 30 December 2019 and confirmed to shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on 15 January, an agreement was reached between NCA Rouiba, represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors Slim Othmani, the BIH group, represented by Gilles Martignac, and certain shareholders (including Slim Othmani) who together hold 44.04% of the company’s capital. The issue was also referred to the Securities and Investments Organisation and Monitoring Commission (Commission d’organisation et de surveillance des opérations de bourse – COSOB).
