According to our sources, around 20 candidates have been selected. The vast majority are local companies that have partnered with foreign entities to submit their bids, or vice versa. They include the Mauritanian AUB-TP; compatriots Afrecom, along with AC3E Burkina; GAGE/SAFI (Tunisia)/Dec-LTD (Burkina-Faso); GPS/I-SEPT (Mali)/ICOTED (Mali); CEH/SONING-BAC (Mali); and GID (Mali). Four other groupings are led by Tunisian firms: Mosaïque Ingénierie/Serah, and IAPS, EGS and ERA International, each allied respectively with Mauritanian companies BIAC, BCC and BMEC.
