ONEE receives €5 million after Energie Électrique de Tahaddart completes a 15% buy-back

According to Jeune Afrique Business + sources, the power plant’s shareholders, including German conglomerate Siemens and Spain’s Endesa, will collect €11 million.

The board of directors of Energie Électrique de Tahaddart, on 24 November, decided to reduce the capital and reimburse the shareholders of the company that controls the 400 MW combined cycle power plant. The plant is on the Tahaddart river banks, 29 km south of the Moroccan city of Tangier.
