Listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, KEC International will implement the electricity interconnection contract between Kamayola in DR Congo and Bujumbura in Burundi. Its bid of $21.93 million was not the lowest, but the group did not have to compete with the big names in the field interested in the project.
