The World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation has entered into a strategic partnership with the South African holding company to attract new investors and finance its plans to expand healthcare in South Africa and the continent for low and middle-income people.

The RH Bophelo investment fund intends to raise $56 million to acquire healthcare facilities in South Africa and other sub-Saharan African countries and expand its digital health offering. The partnership with IFC also aims to diversify the ownership of the RH Bophelo investment fund.
