B2Gold to spend $300 million on its African mines in 2022

The Vancouver-based, Toronto-listed company, active in Mali and Namibia, had a record year with revenues of $1.76 billion. And after the end of a dispute with the Malian authorities, B2Gold is pushing ahead with development and exploration, spending on the strength of its solid accounts.

B2Gold, which has operations in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, will spend nearly $300m in 2022 on capital expenditure and development at its African operations, including its largest asset, the Fekola integrated gold mine in Mali, which produced 567,795 ounces of gold in 2021 (-9%).
