As part of its mandate in Benin, Squire Patton Boggs LLP was contracted by the Presidency of the Republic, Patrice Talon – reappointed last year for a second term – to fulfil a double mission. First, it is to “review the bilateral relationship with the United States in order to assist the government in Cotonou in developing a strategy to enhance this relationship” and second, to “support the Beninese government in the implementation of this bilateral strategy”.
