The Souguéta facility, located in the northeast of the country, is expected to produce up to 750,000 tonnes per year. Management is looking to international donors to raise $30 million.

The project by Diamond Cement Guinea, a subsidiary of the West African Cement (WACEM) industrial group, includes the construction of a clinker plant, a grinding unit, two limestone quarries and two waste rock dumps.
