In April, Philippe Amestoy, Société Générale‘s deputy director for Africa, the Mediterranean and Overseas, vigorously contested the idea of the French giant’s exit from the continent. Recently, the Business Unit, headed by Laurent Goutard, confirmed this position with Africa Business+.
