Gide’s Bruno Quentin delivers conclusions on investigation of Castel’s Sucaf RCA

The Central African subsidiary of Somdiaa, a miller and sugar producer 87% owned by Castel, was accused of agreeing with a local armed group to protect its facilities. However, the investigation conducted by Gide has cleared it.

Bruno Quentin, a partner at the Paris law firm specialising in compliance and internal investigations, supervised the investigation. Castel‘s ethics committee – also referred to the group’s general management – launched the investigation at the end of August 2021.
