Mama Sougoufara, a graduate of INSA Toulouse, Essec and Insead, is the Alstom managing director for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. His responsibilities were recently extended to the whole of Africa, apart from the important South African cluster headed since 2020 by Bernard Peille.  The executive with Senegalese roots talks to Africa Business+ about his focal points on the continent, including the essential markets in North Africa and his iconic projects in Dakar and Abidjan.
