This new green economy investment fund in Rwanda, announced at COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, will be co-managed by the Development Bank of Rwanda and the Rwanda Green Fund–FONERWA.

Ireme Invest is primed by the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD) with $22 million (self-financing) and matched by development partners through their support in the form of loans, grants and partial guarantees.
