Cofina’s lending activities in the agricultural sector received a major boost from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the form of a €26 million line of credit. The group is led by Ivorian financier Jean-Luc Konan (49), a pioneer of the mesofinance concept (a level between microfinance and traditional bank loans).
