The firm intends to build on the momentum of its first green fund. ARCH Emerging Markets Partners, the asset manager launched under the direction of Johan Hattingh – a defector from the British titan Ashmore with £90 billion in assets under management – has every intention of stopping. He is planning a second fund in renewables after the first ARCH Africa Renewable Energy launched in 2019.
