Grand Bassam: AR Hourie Enterprises CEO Rami Hourie still awaits €10m liquid sanitation contract

Rami Hourie, the Syrian businessman based in Beirut, Lebanon, CEO of AR Hourie Enterprises, was recently awarded a contract to construct rainwater drainage works in the municipality of Grand-Bassam, Abidjan, for a sum of €9,748,438.

However, the contract won in early February 2023 cannot be executed. During the award procedure, the contract was suspended due to irregularities at the level of the contracting authority, in this case, the Urban Sanitation and Resilience Project (PARU).
