The Société Minière de Boké (SMB)-Winning Consortium, which Ismaël Diakité represents, has been keen to secure the chairmanship of the chamber for several years. Prior to Diakité’s election, the post was held for two years by Malick Ndiaye, Deputy CEO of Guinea Aluminae Corporation (GAC).
