Cameroon’s Finance Minister has summoned the CEO of the airline which is seeking a CFA francs 2.6bn bail-out. Camair-Co cannot meet its debts and its operations are in danger.

The heavily indebted airline (CFA francs 35bn) had asked the Cameroon government to release a CFA francs 2.648bn credit lifeline to help it “meet its most urgent needs.”
