Brassivoire slashes the price of Heineken by 33% and brews locally
The joint-venture between Heineken (51%) and CFAO (49%) continues to attack the market in Côte d’Ivoire nearly three years after the launch of its first local beer, Ivoire, in November 2016.

Last week Côte d’Ivoire became the 10th African country to brew Heineken, the flagship brand of the eponymous group, and the first in French speaking sub-Saharan Africa. The other countries holding production licences are Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, Namibia, Ethiopia and Rwanda.
