Moumouni Bictogo certifies the Benene bauxite deposit in southern Côte d’Ivoire
Mining junior Lagune Exploitation Bongouanou (LEB), founded by Ivorian businessman Moumouni Michel Bictogo, obtained on 9 October the certification of the Benene bauxite deposit in the country’s central eastern region.

The bauxite resources certification will enable LEB to start planning its production launch. Moumouni Bictogo brought on board French mining giant Eramet, controlled by the Duval family, to lead the certification process based on surveys and canvasses performed at the Benene site.
