SH Biaugeaud, a French engineering company, and Dijon Céréales, a French agricultural cooperative, have formed – alongside various Senegalese partners – a joint venture under the name SAF Ingrédients in order to construct an onion dehydration plant near St. Louis in Senegal. According to our sources, it will be chaired by Magatte Wade, former head of IBM’s West Africa office.
