With the backing of Paris, Vamed arrives in Côte d’Ivoire’s healthcare sector
The Austrian group is building four new hospitals and negotiating a technical maintenance contract. For this venture in Côte d’Ivoire, the subsidiary of German giant Fresenius has received the backing of French partners and ING Bank.

On 24 October, in the presence of Côte d’Ivoire Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly, the Austrian integrated healthcare provider Vamed, a subsidiary of German group Fresenius (earnings of €33.53 billion in 2018) inaugurated construction work on the new hospital in the city of Man in western Côte d’Ivoire.
