Mamady Sanoh (IPS): “We’re investing in a cotton ginning mill to boost production”
According to Jeune Afrique Business+’s sources, the cotton manufacturer controlled by IvoireCoton will build a new cotton ginning mill with a capacity of 35,000 tonnes of seed cotton in Tenkodogo in central-eastern Burkina Faso.

“With the Tenkodogo mill, we hope to increase our cotton production. As soon as we get some initial feedback, we’ll consider building a third mill in another region,” explained Mamady Sanoh to Jeune Afrique Business+. He oversees regional coordination at Industrial Promotion Services (IPS), the Aga Khan group’s holding company and primary shareholder of FasoCoton.
