Enfidha deepwater port: favourites Bouygues and China Harbour Engineering Co have the upper hand on Eiffage and Vinci

The winner of the request for proposal for the construction of Tunisia’s first deepwater port planned for the site at Enfidha, 110 kilometres south of Tunis, will be announced in December.

“The two favourites are China’s CHEC [China Harbour Engineering Company] and French company Bouygues Travaux Public,” explained commander Ezzedine Kacem, who chairs the commission for monitoring the construction of the Enfidha deepwater port and the Tunisian maritime cluster, to Jeune Afrique Business+.
