Paul Hanratty to take command of Sanlam as from 1 July 2020
However, Ian Kirk, Sanlam’s current Group CEO, will stick around until 31 December 2020 to guide Paul Hanratty in his new position as the head of the South African financial services group, particularly to assist with managing the Covid-19 health crisis.

The group which boasts just over 100,000 employees and generated revenue of $95bn in 2019, including $66bn in South Africa, strengthened its insurance business in West Africa with the acquisition of Morocco-based Saham Finances in 2018.
