Dangote Cement awaits the market regulator go-ahead to issue a bond line
By refinancing short-term loans, this fundraising should help optimise the price of credit for the largest company listed on the Lagos Stock Exchange.

Following an agreement by Dangote Cement PLC shareholders to issue one or more bond lines of up to 300bn naira (€756m), the board of directors decided at the end of March to proceed with a first round of capital raising. As a result, an application to the Nigerian financial markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Commission, has been submitted.
