EIB opens up its coffers to help the continent cope with Covid-19

Immediately falling into line with its counterparts, the development institution has set up credit lines for the African private sector, with amounts reaching hundreds of millions of dollars.

For the time being, the experts at the European Investment Bank (EIB) have released €350m  for the continent. Following the example of several development institutions, the Luxembourg-based organisation is opening up its coffers and getting ready to inject massive amounts of funds to support private sector companies in Africa.
