Nickel production in Côte d’Ivoire: Steinmetz’s associates hope for better

Following agreement from SODEMI (a public company) and the Ivorian government, the Compagnie minière du Bafing (CMB), which exploits the Foungbesso-Moyango lateritic nickel ore deposit in the Biankouma region, has embarked on a re-evaluation study. The aim is to optimise exploitation at the mine, which is underperforming.
