Alapala, the Turkish milling equipment giant, makes its move into Africa

The milling equipment supplier, one of the world leaders in the sector along with Swiss company Bühler, wants to expand its activities on the continent, particularly in Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco and Madagascar.

“We aim to expand throughout Africa, where the population has increased by 32% and wheat imports by 68% over the last ten years,” Burak T. Şenay, Marketing Manager of the Turkish family group that has been operating on the continent since the 1990s, told Jeune Afrique Business+.
