The Kamoa-Kakula mining project is subject to a change in schedule. Ivanoe, which is listed in Toronto and in which the Chinese Zijin Mining owns 49.5%, wants to bring forward the opening of its second mine to feed the industrial activity of concentrate generation. Despite the Covid-19 crisis, Phase 2 (Kansoko) is to be brought forward by six months to mid-2022, according to the group’s management.
