According to information gathered by Jeune Afrique Business+, Canyon Resources is now expecting to invest around $130m to develop its bauxite project in Cameroon. This upward revision is among other due to additional costs relating to the railway line’s operation. As a reminder, the firm alluded in our columns in February to a capex of $80m for Minim-Martap.
