Sadiq al-Kabir calls Central Bank of Libya meeting to devalue dinar to around 4,8 dinars/$
The Central Bank of Libya (CBL), led by Sadiq al-Kabir, has arranged a board meeting for Tuesday or Wednesday to devalue the dinar.

According to our sources, the new rate is expected to be around 4,8 Libyan dinar per dollar. This devaluation was made inevitable by the gap between the official rate (1.35 dinar/$) and the black-market rate (5.77 dinar/$ on Sunday).
