Pascal Agboyibor and Bob Bastos advise EGC on the Trafigura deal

The law firm has concluded, alongside the Congolese public company, an agreement governing the artisanal production of cobalt in the country.

Pascal Agboyibor and Bob Bastos, the two co-founders of Asafo, spearheaded the deal. The lawyers trained respectively at the University Lille-II and Sciences-Po Paris, former Orrick alumni, are in the 2020 annual ranking of the most influential lawyers in Africa published by Jeune Afrique. Pascal Agboyibor was ranked second.
