Canal+ takes on Multichoice in Africa with SVOD My Canal platform
The Vivendi subsidiary will migrate its African subscribers to a global VOD platform in May. At the end of 2022, it will seek new customers by offering separate subscriptions.

Forty countries are involved, including all of its African markets. Noting the rise of subscription video on demand (SVOD) platforms and their valuation by the stock markets, the Vivendi subsidiary Canal+ decided to bring all of its subscribers together on a single video on demand (VOD) platform.
