Canyon Resources applies for a mining licence for Minim-Martap bauxite
The Australian company wants to move on to the next phase, as its exploration licence expires on 11 July.

Canyon Resources completed its application on 29 June, submitting its environmental impact study, completed in May by the South African firm Golder Associates Africa, to the Cameroonian Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, headed by Gabriel Dodo Ndoke.
