Stimler surrenders to US authorities in Glencore corruption case
Judge Kevin Castel insisted on an initial hearing on 26 July by video conference, saying that “further delays in the proceedings can only harm the interests of justice”.

Scheduled to surrender to the authorities on 1 November last year, the extradition proceedings were postponed for a fortnight at the request of Juliana Murray of the Justice Department, who cited “logistical problems relating to the issuance of the visa necessary for the journey” of the main defendant, Anthony Stimler, a British national and resident in London.
