Clifford Chance defends Midus Holding’s Congo Mining against Brazzaville expropriation
A squad of lawyers has been mobilised to defend the mining group expropriated last June of its Congolese assets.

After months of fruitless negotiations, Midus Holding Limited (MHL), owner of Congo Mining, made good on its threat by filing a request for arbitration before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). This was anticipated by Africa Business+ last July.
