Congolese advisors in the Gécamines versus China Molybdenum’s Tenke Fungurume Mining dispute
The Congolese copper and cobalt company recently obtained provisional management of the mine through the Commercial Court of Lubumbashi.

At the request of Gécamines, the court rejected the claims of China Molybdenum, the majority shareholder of the operating company Tenke Fungurume Mining (TFM) and operator, and appointed Sage Ngoie Mbayo as provisional manager of the mine.
