Arcep terminates sanctions against Vivendi’s GVA in Togo
According to Africa Business+ sources, the telecoms regulator has terminated the procedures stemming from multiple cases of service unavailability after the operator justified the alleged breaches.

Groupe Vivendi Africa (GVA) – the telecoms entity of the Vivendi group chaired by Yannick Bolloré – narrowly escaped a formal notice and a fine on the Togolese market. The sanctioning procedure opened on 2 September 2022 by the French Electronic Communications, Postal and Print Media Distribution Regulatory Authority (Arcep) was closed after the internet service provider presented its arguments.
