Textiles : IFC to finance Hela Apparel Holdings in East Africa
The financial arm of the World Bank is working on a loan of up to $20 million to the Sri Lankan producer, which employs some 10,000 people on the continent.

The package will finance the long-term working capital needs of the African and Sri Lankan manufacturing operations of the Hela Apparel Holdings PLC division. The funding is also intended to support the production of sportswear, children’s wear and underwear.
