Namibia’s Paladin Energy signs fifth power purchase agreement with US energy company

The identity of the US company is not yet known. But it is a leading operator on the other side of the Atlantic, where 47% of decarbonised energy comes from nuclear.

Paladin Energy, which is preparing to reopen the Langer Heinrich uranium mine near Windhoek in the first few months of next year, now has five yellow cake off-take agreements. Customers are located in the USA, Asia and Europe.
