Frank Braeken facing economic and social troubles at Feronia in DRC

Congolese born Belgian Frank Braeken, Feronia’s Executive Chairman since 2016 and a former Unilever boss, finds himself in the firing line.

In an interview with Jeune Afrique Business+, Frank Braeken confirmed that he had temporarily taken over as CEO in June, replacing Xavier de Carnière who has taken up duties as a strategic adviser to the group.
