Groupe Vivendi Afrique wins licence to roll out fibre optic broadband in Burkina
Burkina’s telecoms regulator (ARCEP) cleared the ground for this deal in a decision issued by its Chairman, Tontama Charles Millogo, on 11 October, Jeune Afrique Business+ has learned.

The operation concerns an “individual licence granted to GVA Burkina Faso SAS for the deployment and operation of a fibre optic network for the rental of capacity and supply of broadband internet access.”
