Samaila Zubairu broadens Africa Finance Corporation’s shareholding to AfDB ($50m)

AFC is Africa’s second largest multilateral financial institution and is increasing its funding programmes for infrastructure projects while widening its scope to initiatives in new countries.

Following the equity investment of Ghana in 2018, this transaction will allow the AFC to ensure compliance with its statutes which provide that its share capital of $1.1bn be held equally between Member States and the private sector.
