La Mancha, Naguib Sawiris’ gold mining holding company, reshuffles its teams
Following its acquisition last year of a 30% stake in gold producer Golden Star Resources in Ghana for around $126m, the Egyptian billionaire’s holding company is in the midst of a recruitment round.

This transaction resulted in the move of several La Mancha managers to Golden Star, starting with Andrew Wray, its CEO, former CFO of Acacia Mining, who was promoted to Chief Executive Officer at Golden Star in May 2019.
