Senegal: a contract representing ‘€1.9bn over the next 15 years,’ according to Ana Giros (Suez)
After several months of delays, the large French utility company Suez has signed its first affermage contract in the south of the Sahara, in Senegal, for some €2bn for a 15-year period. Ana Giros, who leads the group’s regional operations, tells Jeune Afrique Business+ more about the terms of the agreement and Suez’s ambitions in Africa.
