STEG and Fabrilec strengthen their presence in Cameroon with Lom Pangar contract
STEG (Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas) and Moroccan company Fabrilec, have been awarded the electrification contract for 150 localities, harnessing energy from the Lom Pangar dam, in an agreement worth 25 billion CFA Francs (38 million €).

The contract was signed last January. Mohamed Ammar, General Manager of Steg International Services, Mustapha Mouchrek, Fabrilec’s Managing Director, and Théodore Nsangou, the Managing Director of Cameroon national company Electricity Development Corporation (EDC), ratified a document transferring the electrification contracts of localities around east Cameroon’s Lom Pangar dam to the two Maghreb companies, with an installed capacity of 30MW.
