How A.P. Moller-Maersk is organised in Africa
The world leader in container transport has recently reorganised and integrated some of its activities into four major divisions in order to better control the end-to-end supply chain, including in Africa.

The Danish giant is 41.51% owned by A.P. Moller Holding A/S, 8.84% by The Moller Family Foundation, 11.03% by the A.P. Moller Relief Foundation and 38.62% by other shareholders. It is structured into four business areas. These are the “Ocean” business line, which leads the way with revenues of $7.3bn; followed by the “Logistics & Services” branch (revenues of $1.2bn); the “Terminals & Towage” business ($986m); and the “Manufacturing & Others” division ($553m).
