Tanzania Airports Authority reviews its handling contracts: Swissport and others on the way out

In conjunction with the construction of a new terminal (Airport Terminal Building III) at Julius-Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam and the upgrading of its Airport Terminal Building II, Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) is launching a tender to award ground handling services at all airports in the country. Existing contracts for handling services expired on 31 January this year, including the agreement with Swissport at the airport in the Tanzanian economic capital. Swissport will likely postulate for a new contract at Dar es Salaam.
