Linklaters and Freshfields work to complete the sale of Vodafone Egypt to Saudi Arabian STC
The Covid-19 pandemic has seen negotiations extended by 90 days. At the beginning of January, a preliminary agreement set the value of the deal at $2.4bn.

According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, the London and Riyadh teams of law firm Linklaters are in the process of attempting to sell their client Vodafone Group’s 55% share in its Egyptian subsidiary to public operator Saudi Telecom Company (STC).
