Bank of Africa seeks to raise 1 billion dirhams by converting dividends
The €90 capital increase comes on top of the 3.6 billion dirhams (€325m) raised in 2019 to strengthen the Moroccan bank’s equity, but it will further dilute earnings per share.

For the second year in a row, the bank – whose company name is no longer BMCE Bank of Africa as of 5 March – plans to give its shareholders the option of receiving their annual dividend as new shares.
